This is a superb place to stay, the accommodation is really lovely. Mary was always available with useful information and assistance, and the swimming pool really made the holiday for our children. They would have stayed in it all week if we had let them! We all wish we could stay here forever, away from the rat race back home. “ Perrfick”!

Wow! What a heavenly place – Barn and facilities by far the best we have ever stayed in.  Haven’t moved off site – kids more than happy with pool, hot tub and games room and so are the adults.  Mary and Derek have provided everything you need and are so friendly and hospitable – nothing’s too much trouble.  All have enjoyed fishing in the lake – Ian caught a “whopper”!  Go and see the Alpacas in the neighbouring small holding – great!  Lovely weather, lovely company, lovely facilities, lovely hosts – must come back.  Thanks!

Bored with hotels & the bad service. Booked this place a day in advance. Have not regretted it. In fact, I should have found it earlier! Of all my travel, have not come across a better equipped place, that makes you feel totally at home. As for the owners ( Mary & Derek ) they make the Fifth Star ( place has a Four Star Rating )

Another wonderful holiday at Rafters. Lovely cottage and location. We loved the pool and the evening walks along the track to the river, or around the reservoir watching the fish jump at fly's and the sunset reflected in the water.

We loved having BBQs while watching the cows and rabbits, the chats with Mary, and watching the harvest being brought in. Great location for driving to the sights, we’ve been here four weeks in the last year and there are still more places we want to visit!
